A disadvantage by using this kind of devices is the fact that documentation is only possible by reading the data or by taking pictures, which does not allow recording a longer series without interruptions. But this device allows inserting a video signal and therefore the measuring data is inserted into a real time video picture which allows a continuous surveillance over a longer period of time.

Known devices which are on the market at the moment have the disadvantage that the interface for the connection of display and video camera are outside of the display device which results in a laborious installation. This device contains all electronical parts inside a compact box which is smaller than all known other devices of this kind [...]. Due to this fact a surprisingly simple installation or a fast change into another vehicle are possible.
